For today I focused on my modelling skills. Since this was my first day getting back into the swing of things I decided to continue on a model I was working on and off over the last few months and decided it was about time I went in and completed it.
I modelled an Apple Mac Book laptop. This model would help me get back in pretty easily by being a simple object with small intricate details that needed care. These details would require some topology changes that would enable me to have the opportunity to reroute the edge flow to avoid pinching and bad topology.
I also wanted to model the details in for this hard surface model just to practice my modelling skills since I have been out of practice for a little while.
After modelling today, I feel my skills returning from muscle memory after just making this for a few hours.
Here is today's result. I was able to finish the mesh itself and I just need to do some retopology, cleaning up and move onto texturing.
