I began the day by continuing Python. To start I worked on learning conditional expressions and how to use them at a basic level with different examples on how they work.

Next was string methods. I began learning a few of the available string methods that can be used to locate and make strings more accessible such as capitalising text or locating indexes.

Following these string methods, I completed a small project to help put these methods into practice. Make a program to create a username while following certain rules on what can be contained within said username.

To conclude today's Python session I learnt indexing. Locating the start, end and step of locating characters within a string by indexing. I completed a few small examples such as locating the last 4 digits of a credit card number for security purposes.

As I have mentioned previously, I am working a lot more shifts this month compared to usual and am going to be a lot slower throughout June with work. I will try to work on bits here and there however it won't be  consistent. At least as consistent as I can make it.

I utilised a few new tools here and have set up the project ready to learn some rendering and material techniques.

Next session I'll work on Blender, Python and some of my story some more
